48 Hours of Repeal
I got commissioned by Huck magazine to document the 48 hours encompassing the vote, the count, and the result announcement of Ireland's historic abortion referendum.
Over the two days I photographed significant sites of the campaign: Maser's contested REPEAL mural on the wall of the Project Arts Centre, the empty window displays of the Together 4 Yes pop-up shop after the day of the vote, and the post-it adorned walls of the Temple Bar Gallery.
On the day of the vote I met and talked with a number of musicians and artists who were involved with the Repeal campaign. On the day of the result I photographed the young women of Dublin who woke up to a country that voted in favour of reproductive rights.
